To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 韓國客人要求想食中國菜, 終於決定去北京樓, 比佢地試試出名的北京填鴨, 還可以有香港夜景..但真勁失望, 話晒都叫遊客區, 啲侍應質素..唉...都唔知係太熱心定點,我地9個人食飯, 竞然4個侍應不停喺我地張枱道轉..混亂非常...問佢開瓶費幾多, 佢竞然答我唔知..跟住仲一碌木咁企喺道, 我叫佢幫我問吓,佢先有反應去問... 我個客叫佢拎個酒杯,咁簡單英文都明, 呢道係遊客區既食肆啊..簡單的都應該識答嗎??我記得約大半年前黎過,啲侍應都唔係咁...講完服務同侍應, 要講食物...出名既片皮鴨, 皮同只鴨都係凍, , 塊皮又厚又凍,問佢點解咁,佢竞然答我放左喺道耐左,係會變凍, 你想點..咁樣答我都可以??只鴨又係凍,啲油直情係琼晒喺道...宮廷蝦球,個皮好似無炸過咁,我只係食左啲粉囉, 蔥爆牛肉,啲牛肉無肉味,只有梳打粉味,都唔知似咩..仲有個津白,直情咸到完全食唔到,係個雲吞雞係比較好少少, 仲有其他的食物勁一般,完全唔覺得好食一間喺尖沙咀頗出名既食肆,唔通個質素可以咁樣, 侍應,食物..完全無一樣係合格我相信都唔會再去啦!!勁失望
