To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 與好朋友飯聚,其中一位朋友選了牛角作地點,說想一試,碰巧我們四人中有3位都未曾試過,所以便在沒有異議下一致決定到這裡。唯一一位有食過牛角的朋友有會員卡,所以便可以用APP訂座,我們訂了下午8時。準時到達,店員表示正在收拾座位,所以我們等了約5分鐘。餐廳內燒肉味香,但油煙不多。牛角用的是電子點餐,很方便。我們點了牛肉、蜜汁豬肉、香菇。牛肉味濃,不用沾上任何醬料都已經好好味;蜜汁豬肉富肉汁,帶甜甜的蜜味,很相配;香菇加上燒汁作調味來燒,不但帶出香菇的鮮味,而且不覺熱氣。羊鞍有2件,每件都很大件,我們要要求店員給我們剪刀分開呢!羊騷味重,而且新鮮,油脂豐富,不過要$85。帆立貝用錫紙盤盛着來燒,很方便。蒜香味重,帆立貝又滑又鮮又多汁。雖然整體燒物的價錢偏貴,但質素不差,用料新鮮。最後甜品有鯛魚燒(紅豆和吉士餡)和銅鑼燒(綠茶)。兩者都是不過不失,沒太大驚喜。
