To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 前晚大約8:30pm2人入座,打算叫叉燒/油雞飯,伙記話無油雞轉切雞,我話無問題。等待期間再點了排骨面(因為唔多肚餓,唔想食太多),跟住叉燒/油雞飯到達。見到d雞已經有點唔開胃,得4-5細件,全部是背骨位賣剩蔗,仲要收$75。諗了一諗,問伙記可唔可以唔要雞改叉燒?伙記拎走碟飯同燒味部「男」師傅講,唔要d雞,比多幾夠叉燒。「男」師傅問點解?伙記話色水唔靚。「男」師傅話係咁架啦,伙記話總之斬幾件叉燒拎走d雞,「男」師傅唔肯,仲話係咁架😠!我們的座位正正對住燒味部,我走去同「男」師傅講:師傅,d雞全部都是骨,我們唔要了,想換幾件叉燒,點知「男」師傅話:嗰度有2件雞髀位!嘩!佢唔講尼句都無咁🔥!我話邊度有2件髀位!佢死都話有!我返埋位,我問伙記邊有髀位?一件都無!伙記好好人,問經理,經理叫「男」師傅換幾件叉燒我。我夾起晒d雞唔食,個「男」師傅仲繼續講話有雞髀!真係佛都有🔥!我即刻拎比經理睇(因為佢剛剛坐响後2個卡位)。我話:經理,你自己睇下邊有髀位?我們一件雞都無食過。之後經理拎埋d雞同「男」師傅講:真係無髀位!「男」師傅仲死撐話有!!!我又忍唔住問:你話比我知,邊件係髀位?「男」師傅話:咁你
