To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 為食卡比獸平時愛好日本菜同泰國菜,呢一日心思思想試中菜,就去咗旺角MOKO嘅北京樓覓食。聽個名就知係食正宗北京菜,同朋友四個人一致通過叫北京填鴨過一過口癮。待應同我地講要等最少十五分鐘,上菜既時侯大家都有少少嚇咗一跳,因為份量比想像中多,加上北京填鴨比較尾段先上,大家都已經七八成飽啦。薄薄既餅皮熱辣辣又鬆軟,絕對值得加分,加上青瓜、京葱等配料。夾起一片鴨肉點上京醬,用餅皮包好就完成整個步驟。口感滿分之餘,心靈都覺得好滿足,大家你一塊我一塊好快手就ko咗成碟片皮鴨。另外仲叫咗水煮魚同雲吞雞,味道上就俾唔到驚喜,不過不失啦。總括黎講,卡比獸都幾滿意呢度嘅中菜。
