To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今天我遠道從長洲而來,探望朋友,找個地方敘舊,感受將軍澳風味,滿心歡喜來到坑口村,希望大快朵頤。然後我打開餐牌,看見琳琅滿目的餸菜,雀躍萬分。我我點了酥炸豬手、薯仔牛柳粒和水煮魚。然後上菜了。我看到實物,大失所望。嘩豬手一入口超多油,但肉質十分乾,豬皮十分油,有很多肥膏,卻要收費百幾蚊,十分不值,千萬不要嘗試。回想起不夠之前在宜家傢俬吃的豬手,十分香脆,卻只是六十多元。另外薯仔牛柳粒,醬汁太多,沒有鑊氣,薯仔不夠脆。
