To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 美心有唔同嘅中菜餐廳,見佢不定時都會同唔同信用卡做優惠。啱啱撞到佢哋50週年慶祝所以星光行分店就會全單半價,屋企人覺得有興趣,好彩一早book定枱,如果唔係都應該有排等。 大概七點半入座,但有啲湯嘅菜式已經冇曬,所以就嗌咗個蟹肉羹,跟一個燒鵝,咕嚕肉同埋脆皮雞,仲有一個龍躉頭煲,聽職員講一日得兩個,所以要食就真係要早啲嗌啦。 先講個蟹肉羹, 一份可以分到八碗,而且食到一絲絲嘅蟹肉,而脆皮雞方面,一開頭就會原隻雞放上,然後會有店員表演用燒著咗嘅酒淋落去,除咗有咩食嘅享受,仲有味覺上嘅享受。然後就會拎返去畀師傅切件,見到啲雞肥瘦適中唔會話好多都係肥膏之餘啲皮亦都係脆卜卜好好食,燒鵝方面亦都係肥瘦適中 ,差唔多每一舊肉都可以食得曬, 最後重頭戲係龍躉頭煲,一落單就要等45分鐘先整到,一上到菜唔單止分量好足好香,而且龍躉肉亦都係十分之鮮甜,湯亦都有一種鮮甜嘅味道。 雖然係半價,但嘢食都冇揸流攤,服務態度亦都唔會因為忙而差。八點鐘餐廳仲會較暗啲燈,令食客可以欣賞幻彩詠香江!
