Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 花了差不多二小時的時間,一行人卒之完成整個行程,順利由榕樹灣走到索罟灣想不到小友都算幾行得,走了那麼久還沒有倦意,不斷又跑又跳又唱歌。小孩子精力之旺盛,真不可以看小....來到索罟灣,再次見到一羣羣的海鮮酒家。最有名的當然是歷史悠久、規模龐大的"天虹",不過小弟對之一點也沒有好感,反而對開在她兩旁的"弱勢社羣"更感興趣其中一間頗吃得過的,便是近着碼頭的"威記"....都已接近一時了,但這裡就只有一枱客而已;相反隔鄰的"天虹"的人流卻是絡繹不絕。所以說名氣這一回事,有時真的是招倈生意的一個最重要因素呢....一坐低,由於飢火大旺之關係,拿起餐牌不及細想便叫了個四人套餐,也不醒起外父最近因喉嚨不適而食不了辣東西。這一下子,餐裡頭的吉列鮮魷、椒鹽焗蝦等都全沒有他份兒。心裡不斷的責備自己的粗心大意此時唯有再追加一道招牌家鄉荔芋扣肉好讓他有兩啖食。想不到這扣肉的滋味,到現在小弟還深深的印在腦海中久久未能忘懷,差點便要和外父爭食....相比之下,身為主角的一眾海鮮反而成了大茄。好像眼前的"頭盤"豉椒炒蜆,蜆隻頗細,肉自然也是微小不多,是真的小得連鮮甜與否亦試不出來;不過那豉汁卻是杰度濃稠且夠辣惹味

椒鹽焗蝦份量足夠五至六人分享,十分抵食
。蝦沒甚霉味,是出乎意料的新鮮;黑胡椒下得極重手,辣得惹味之餘卻無阻蝦鮮跑進口腔內,很難得
....

吉列鮮魷的炸粉似乎是偏厚了
,白白浪費了魷魚本身的鮮。其實魷魚本身是頗軟淰易咬的,絕對屬好的貨色;伴醬是帶微酸甜的像茄醬一類的東西,有點很西化的食法,不過自己還是最喜歡醮淮鹽多一些

餐牌上寫着的是"是日鮮魚",問一下老闆娘,原來今天是盲曹。套餐能給的固之然不是甚麼貴價魚,可幸這條盲曹蒸出來也不失禮 --- 肉不削之餘也蠻滑,腥氣亦不重,而且火喉啱啱好,肉剛離骨而中心近骨部位亦沒見紅。喜歡蒸魚的我們這一家,頓然化身幾頭老中青花貓,將之吃過清光
....

炒白菜很夠鑊氣,條條帶綠爽脆,不重油,而且很聰明地以熟豉油代替蠔油去為菜加味,這樣菜鮮就不會被味重的蠔油蓋過了
不過如是我弄的話,就只加幼鹽去炒便已很足夠
....

其實以套餐正常的水平去計算,這裡做出來的已是超水準,怎知a la carte叫的扣肉竟是極品 ---- 從外觀色澤以至味道,一吃便知是客家家鄉的手藝
對身為客家佬的我,自不然大喜過望。南乳的香及味是濃得要命,帶微甜又有酒香
;芋頭大大塊之餘亦極粉糯,是真的吃完一片又一片
;不過這道菜亦不是完全毫無缺失的,起碼五花肉是屬於偏瘦的那一款,這就吃不出那豐腴脂美的味道來...

單尾的揚州炒飯是反高潮之作 ---- 飯濕撻撻的成一pat pat;油份十分的重再加上材料太少。看起來似火腿炒飯多一些
。老實講,印象中是從來沒有吃過那麼難吃的炒飯

以付出每人百多大洋便可吃到有魚有蝦的一個海鮮餐來說,已是相當的抵食 (最後要吃至打包走的),再加上那一道極出色的扣肉汁及芋頭片,便已足夠讓小弟將之紀錄於私人的美食事件簿內了
....
