Cheungchau is famous for its "bread of peace"(平安包) and today I visited one of the most famous shop in Cheungchau... Kwok Kam Kee Cake Shop. Personally, this shop was quite difficult to find, but anyways... I was there!It looked really "old fashioned", but this was definitely the tradition and culture of Cheungchau!! However, maybe that bread was left there for quite a long period, not FRESH, not HOT and not SOFT at all, if it is freshly baked, it will taste much better!!
If you are going to cheungchau remember to get "bread of peace", it will bring you PEACE and maybe even some LUCK!!Post
