To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 此店在平田商場內,前身都係一間茶記,但自LINKS的商場升格,光鮮的百份百便進註了。中午一來到,看餐牌款式甚多,看了一會便order了招牌菜之一 -  縠飼牛肉炒讚岐烏冬 加 (凍奶茶)。不消10分鐘便上枱,四十元的烏冬濃稠適中,味道調得很好,有牛肉、青紅召、菇、椰菜等,很足料。出色之處在於甜甜的汁料和肉質頗腍入味,口感豐富,如果加多少許芝麻會更好吃,而烏冬則煮得偏淋,不夠彈牙。 凍奶茶入口不夠香濃幼滑,可能奶和茶的比例不對,入口有少少鞋,味道過得去而已。吃完肚子脹脹地步出店外,想想份量不算多以咁既價錢埋單確係偏貴($46),必定係裝潢成本轉移俾食客,如果價錢再平民啲,食物keep住質素而有口碑,相信會更值得支持!
