To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一直認為八月花係屯門區比較有質素嘅茶樓,點知。。。咁耐冇嚟,質素可以差咗咁多。。。位於v city,西鐵站出口直結,交通就非常方便。店面不算大,所以經常見門外有人等候位置。店鋪環境尚算簇新。服務方面:與一般屋村酒樓無異,無喜無驚。但對於送點心姐姐方面,則有少許微言。。。不知為何,只叫了數碟點心,枱面上仍有空間,但姐姐們每次送點心,總是喜歡把點心斜放於其他雜物上。即使你已在枱面騰出空位,仍是隨手將點心放在最就手的一端雜物上,便頭也不回離去。至於食物質素方面。。。鵝肝蟹籽春捲-算是最好的一款:春捲炸得夠脆,不算油膩,蝦膠爽彈。唯一不明白的是--沒有鵝肝味。。。鑊仔煎釀三寶:正正常常,不過不失。叉燒腸粉:與一般酒樓無異。粉質不夠滑,過於粘口。鮑魚撻:um....鮑魚好味,但撻底太乾身冇味。百花釀魚肚: 呢碟就出事喇。上枱已聞到好重胡椒粉味。一吃之下發現魚肚充滿腥味,即使大量胡椒粉亦未能蓋過。除此以外就沒有其他味道。只可以送一句。好。難。食。八月花品牌,一直都係以質素自居。但今日一試,無論是食物還是服務的質素,也比其一般屋村茶樓還要差。或者他只保留了價錢高尚而已。

至於食物質素方面。。。
鵝肝蟹籽春捲-算是最好的一款:春捲炸得夠脆,不算油膩,蝦膠爽彈。唯一不明白的是--沒有鵝肝味。。。
