「榮記」的車仔麵,一向有名。這一天,我的晚餐就在這裡解決。吃的是雙拼的「牛筋牛腩河」,腩汁早已融會進湯頭中,味道自然,喝得出沒有味精。牛腩牛筋份量不特別多,也不特別少,雖然再多些會更好,可也足夠。牛腩不算很好,也不算差,都算軟腍。牛筋軟滑,但不太多。河粉則稍嫌細條了點,吃到最後不容易夾起。三十二元一碗不算細碗的雙拼粉麵,與單併同價,在今時今日百物騰貴的香港,在一間薄有名氣的店舖裡吃到,不貴了。
