To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 我最近在呢間餐廳用餐的經驗真是令人失望。首先分配座位制度非常有問題,本身冇book位,但當日咁飛等只須要等兩位,但中途不斷比已book枱人士攝位,導致明明餐廳有不少空位,但攝下攝下成30分鐘後先到我哋此外,服務質量極差。服務員態度冷淡且不耐煩,樓面明顯人手不足,會導致場面極度混亂。點菜後,等待的時間非常長。菜品的味道即不過不失餐廳的環境也不太理想,staff忙到飛起,很多客人都有少少燥總的來說,這次用餐經驗讓我感到非常失望。服務質量差、人手問題都讓我對這家餐廳的印象大打折扣。
