To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 本人在母親節用餐,原本想食本餐廳的陳皮鴨,進入餐廳後,當需要落單的時候才知道沒有陳皮鴨,貴公司的穿背心的高級主任解釋前一日已售罄了,好像無心工作,完全沒有任何解釋和抱歉,第二次本店的經理(穿白色恤衫)過來解釋是門口貼了售罄但餐牌沒有貼,雖然是解釋了事件,但是完全沒有任何歉意,本家人覺得本店店員沒有禮貌。相對以前的態度太不同,金菇肥牛煲、青衣豆腐煲也沒有蓋好,拿出來的時候已經是開啟狀態,難道不怕食物變凍,小菜下的單子也沒有拿走,亦覺得金菇肥牛煲的牛肉不足夠,實在覺得是不夠衛生。另外,本人想要清茶,店員聆聽後亦沒有作出任何收到反應,本人不知道他是不是已經收到了。覺得貴公司需要改善員工的待客禮貌,本人需要冰和水,叫了員工前來協助,經理走了過來,那掉了水壺,結果換來的只有沒有禮貌的對待,經理大力地把水壺放在枱面上就離開了,而杯冰也是大力地放下就離開了,當中過程完全沒有任何口碼和禮貌,態度惡劣,貴公司的經理態度也是這樣,在繁忙時段也經常和員工聊天,不能以身作則更何況員工的態度,覺得將軍澳廣場經理處事十分有問題。極不推薦來這間分店進食。到最後,到付款處付款時,收錢的是本店的副經理,態度也不太友善,
