To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 尋晚同老公兩個人食晚飯, 行到東港城佢竟然提議食太興, 我其實唔咪太想, 因為質數時好時壞,不過既然佢提議去食,咁就再去一次, 以前黎幫襯係要排隊攞飛既,而家咁既時世等都唔洗等,仲要有卡位坐,所以可以一試啦, 坐底左, 張椅有d水, 諗住叫侍應黎搞搞佢,點知無人理,最後自己搞掂, 諗好叫雙拼燒味飯, 直情揮曬手係侍應面前,佢竟然直行, 時運高睇我唔到wo, 已經心諗係咪咁差呀, 最後另外一個阿姐理左我地, 叫乳豬拼燒鵝,佢話賣曬乳豬, 咁我改油雞啦, 等左一陣個餐碟油菜到,嘩水汪汪ga, 拾菜都要隔一隔水先出黎呀, 有半碟水, 我自己隔啦, 過左一陣我碟燒鵝油雞飯到, 油雞得雞亦位加雞尖, 燒鵝得燒鵝皮加肥膏,無肉ga wo , 五舊有三舊都係咁,食左第一舊發現咁, 已經無名火起啦, 收得人五十蚊俾d鵝皮加肥膏就話靚燒鵝,我叫左個阿姐黎,問佢點食呀, 個燒味師傅回覆話成隻都係咁wo, 我真係想走人呀,我未見過成隻燒鵝得肥膏加皮law,你搵隻我睇睇呀唔該, 仲要咁串話係咁wo, 真係唔想lo咁款, 我以後都唔會幫襯呀, 咁都得,呢個時世咁既服務,點收人50蚊呀, 你估自己係鏞記咩,最後俾
