To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. (1) 致電book位已滿再walk-in, 未夠6時已到, 5-6位已叫大枱, 全場只得4張, 結果等了1.5小時, 約7:30才入. 細枱就多, 多人勿去. 唯一好處是不限時.(2) 款式少, 前菜只有2款凍豆腐及幾款沙律, 烤肉主要是牛 (不同款的牛肉, 牛舌, 牛肝, 牛柏葉等), 雞得2-3款, 魚2款, 豬及羊都好似無. 而主食只有幾種飯, 總之好少款, 好多同款都要叫2-3碟才夠. 不要期望多選擇.(3) 烤肉的味道是好的, 奈何肉質太韌, 根本咬唔開 (唔關生熟問題, 是片肉好多根及渣). 食完好似無食, 唔夠飽. 而其他沙律同飯都ok, 個石鍋食幾好食. 其實d肉唔靚而影響d食物質素是好浪費的, 片片肉都吞唔到, 寧願比多d錢去盛八或依波好過.總結: 不值得等!! 而等好待, 選擇少, 烤肉韌, 如果咁既質素價錢亦唔算平 (今次約$800, 5人). 好多人只是慕名而來, 但真係唔值得得.一次便夠!! 亦不會推介予其他人.
