To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友搵到團購有陶源嘅大閳蟹餐,298蚊就可以食到2隻大閳蟹同6個菜,加一個薑茶同生果。先講大閳蟹,因為價錢問題我都明白唔會係靚嘅蟹但都ok.第一道菜嘅係燒肉同素鵝,2樣都好脆口,味道還可以。第二道菜係海參,好似一個湯咁,但入面有好似薏米同糙米咁嘅野,味道就一般,冇咩味咁。第三道係鮑魚鵝掌,鮑魚好林身,但就唔太入味,鵝掌一樣好林,但完全唔入面,只係靠個汁先食落有d味。之後就上大閳蟹,佢地會先上一隻等你食完第一隻先上第二隻。之後就魚柳天使面,面嘅份量比較少,魚煮得唔錯。最後係上湯蔬菜,個湯比較油,菜係用豆苗,上面仲有幾條蟲草花。薑茶入面有一粒湯丸,但十分粉,薑茶亦太辣,飲得出唔係真薑,係用薑精沖出黎。
