To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 見到一蚊雞煲poster諗住去試吓。阿姐問我哋加啲咩餸,第一次上門,咪諗住睇吓餐牌先囉。同阿姐講幫我哋落咗個雞煲先。跟住見到枱面有QR code,費事叫個黑面阿姐過嚟,就諗住自助落單。點知等咗成八個字,淨係等到個黑面阿姐催我哋埋單。「我哋仲有啲xxx未上喎⋯⋯?」「見唔到喎」「我哋scan QR code㗎」「宵夜時段個系統用唔到,要寫紙先得㗎 !唔係叫咗你哋寫紙咩?」跟住就叫我哋去埋單。前台阿姐係咁易打咗我哋張單出嚟——完全冇俾時間我哋講嘢。佢聽我哋講完整件事,叫咗经理過嚟——原來又係頭先個黑面阿姐——又俾佢鬧咗第二次。過程省略。處理結果:無得退返錢🙃聽日嚟食多餐🙃唔記得講埋添:落單未問過我哋辣度;啲餐具污糟邋遢;啲雞咬開仲見到有血??都唔知重慶雞煲定重慶白切雞😅真係唔知咩事囉,QR code用唔到又唔早響,落左單都當睇唔到,仲要被逼吃多餐,真係冇咁得閒日日去吃囉想早啲收工都唔使為難啲客㗎嘛😅真係開晒眼界🫠
