To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今年冬至宴主角是此店盆菜。他們都認為比數大飲食集團的質素好。只有6人,對福袋無興趣,如同嚼膠。唯有選「鮑魚金蠔」。份量是足夠8人分享,加一斤唐生菜便可。汁液豐腴,足以翻熱面層的食品,並令它們「入味」。味道類似元朗盆菜店,應是下了很多功夫。今次宣傳口號是「足料到爆」,檢視有10隻鮑魚,10隻大金蠔,10隻蝦,6件鵝,6件雞,4件魚肚,大紅紋花菇,發髮,豬手,雲耳,魚蛋,貢丸,蘿蔔,西蘭花……。是交到功課。豉油雞變了白切。魚蛋有改進升級為元朗長魚蛋,紅紋花菇很大隻,形同5個10元硬幣,厚肉重味。有兩大塊似排骨物體,有嚼勁,不肥胖。不知為何物?宣傳單張宜詳列20種食品名稱。盆菜擺設是藝術,顏色對比方面完全忽略。宣傳單張圖片與實物相差太遠吧?整體上還是有進步。
