To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 本年此店強調綠豆與糯米呈7:3比例,即多豆,不黏口。吃了三隻,可以品評如下:紫米蓮蓉鹼水糉是上品,優點是細隻,僅重110克,四分之一磅。這樣令糯米,黑糯米十分滑溜,與蓮蓉融化為一體,不會有死實感覺。中品為八穀豐登豚肉糉(250克),十分健康,混合多種豆(紅豆,綠豆,花生,紅腰豆,三角豆,眉豆),合桃,蓮子,伴以日本醬汁醃製的豬腩肉。早年已有人在咸糉加入紅豆,現在只是加大比例。此糉平衡了健康和肥滯,傳統和時尚。下品是重近一磅,即400克的原粒元貝咸豬肉糉。太大隻了,周邊的豆米不能沾染到豬肉香,顯得乏味。其次,豬肉偏瘦,屬瘦肉,難以入口。個人認為加入元貝對提味幫助不大。總括而言,多綠豆會減少飽滯,但亦會一邊吃糉,一邊散開的。6:4比會好一些?
