To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 聽講翠華最近推出了一款神之叉燒飯,作為一個叉燒迷的我當然要試試他們的叉燒飯。這款叉燒飯非常特別,我本以為它會像一般的燒臘一樣,但出乎意料地偏向日式風格,不會有太重的燒臘味道,只是外表稍微有一點焦香感。而且每一份的叉燒都是超厚切的肉,下面還鋪上一層滑蛋,配上飯一起享用,真是絕配。我還另外點了一份香辣炸醬撈麵,他們的炸醬撈麵主要以香辣為主,不會有太多的醬汁,相對感覺更加健康,不像外面那些醬汁很多的撈麵。另外我們還點了一份瑞士雞翼,他們的瑞士雞翼是整隻雞翅膀,連雞翅尖都可以吃,相當正宗。此外,他們還推出了幾款不同的飲品,我點了一杯忌廉花茶。花茶本身就很甜,再加上忌廉,就像一個甜品一樣,非常美味。
