已有一段時間無吃泰國菜,來到旺角,順便嚐嚐。樓高兩層的泰菜館,門口是串燒檔,內裏放了泰國畫像。馬拉盞炒椰菜苗($75),椰菜向來給人爽中帶硬的感覺,馬拉盞更能突出椰菜苗的口感,特別是微辣的辣椒,令整碟椰菜更惹味和更顯得鑊氣足。再嚐串燒沙嗲(豬、雞各一,每串$15)。串燒沙嗲是每次必點的,因其醬汁極惹味,澆上串燒、撈檬或蔬菜都十分美味。豬肉和雞肉串燒兩者的口感差不多,豬肉比較有實在的肉口感,而雞肉比較滑。串燒中以泰燒和牛串($25)最惹味,厚實的肉纖維配上香草汁,令口感和味蕾都得以滿足。炭燒豬頸肉撈檬套餐($45),撈檬的醬汁不多,如配馬拉盞椰菜苗吃,其鹹香會令撈檬變得惹味。豬頸肉量多,燒得香脆,配上極大份量的滑檬粉,非常飽肚。紅豆冰(套餐+$5),甜度適中,紅豆多,如紅豆煮得稔一點會更好。至於三絲撈檬套餐($35),有雞絲、蛋絲和扎肉絲,蛋絲微脆、雞絲帶點煙韌,扎肉絲則最爽口,配上撈檬,口感甚佳。三絲的份量同樣甚多,由於三絲的口感不一,形成多層次的口感。涼粉冰(套餐+$5),細粒涼粉容易入口,甜度適中,涼粉量多。泰式鮮奶燕窩(凍)($58),原來是鮮奶加上燕窩,與想像中的固體甜品不同。
