To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 冬至將至,天氣轉涼❄️❄️☃️係時候食番個羊腩煲滋補暖身!順手同屋企人做冬,今日就黎到屋企樓下座無虛席的富臨皇宮大快朵頤。羊腩煲:用上石油氣爐邊滾邊食,特別有風味。羊肉完全無騷味,份量十足,而且有大量薑片同香茅去辟騷味,上枱時用慢火焗多五分鐘,超多芹菜芫荽蔥、香氣撲鼻,令人垂涎欲滴,鐘意食羊腩帶骨啖啖肉當雞髀食又得,咬落一絲絲,帶韌勁蘸上咸香腐乳,停吾到口。仲有至愛爽脆馬啼、香菇腐竹同粉葛等,豐富滿足的配料。野山參燉水鴨湯:店員服務態度好好,主動幫我地𢳂湯,湯渣有一整隻已經煮焾左的水鴨,一夾起即骨肉分離,充滿蛋白質又無肥肉,湯渣可以蘸上豉油食,仲有紅棗、瘦肉,野山參等湯料,真材實料!水鴨補中益氣、平胃消食、利水消腫之功。湯的氣味十分清潤甘香可口,有益氣養陰,具補虛損、益肺補腎之功,為冬日必飲滋補靚湯。乳豬(例牌):外皮香脆,油脂偏重帶肥膏香,肉質鮮嫩多汁,色澤金黃誘人,香氣四溢,每日即燒即製,新鮮熱辣。總結:做冬必食大份驅寒羊腩煲性價比高
