To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

又是煙雨濛濛的一個下午。那時快要離開大埔工作的地方,所以就最後一擊(?) 再來大美督找吃去啦。這次等巴士的時間短一些,相對地有多些時間午飯。本來想去忠誠茶座泰國菜,不料這裏的閒日竟然也要等位,最後只好放棄,來到這家也是賣泰國菜的餐廳。這裏的裝修較忠誠來得好 (起碼有些 "懶係野" 的吊扇),只是價位也相對來得貴一點。同事著我點菜,那頓事先說明先她請客,我自然是不敢點太多/太貴的菜,這個炸軟殼蟹是她知我喜歡吃又知我唔敢叫而叫的 (嗯,好複雜的一句句子),炸衣做得乾身,而且軟殼蟹用的也算是好貨色,肉質甚厚,自然也做得不乾身。調味稍淡了一點,下多些椒鹽會較好,不過即叫即炸,熱呼呼放入口,本身就不會難吃呀。每次吃泰國菜我都喜歡點 pad thai,金邊粉炒得稍油,好處是粉條不會黏在一起,材料很多,魚蛋豆干芹菜蝦的一大堆,酸酸甜甜的很易入口,伴上花生碎就更惹味開胃。重點,這 pad thai 非常大兜,下面那張串燒的的圖就隱約可見,吃得人非常滿足!也要了半打串燒,雞/牛/豬的數量可自由搭配,我就選了每款兩串,不過點菜後才想起同事不吃牛,而且也不太吃雞…囧 最後嘛,我隊了兩串牛 & 一串半雞囉咩事

也要了半打串燒,雞/牛/豬的數量可自由搭配,我就選了每款兩串,不過點菜後才想起同事不吃牛,而且也不太吃雞…囧 最後嘛,我隊了兩串牛 & 一串半雞囉咩事,唉。牛難得地燒得不錯,咬開還見不太熟,入口也有肉汁;雞串用的自然是雪藏貨,這個燒得稍乾身,肉質有點硬,配上的沙嗲醬花生味香濃,讓串燒的味道提升了不少!

另外也點了兩杯飲料,我要了龍眼冰,罐頭龍眼下得夠多,配上梳打水很解暑 (雖然那天好像才廿四五度…) 買單兩百多,光是那份軟殼蟹就要 $72,這裏也有 set lunch,價位大約 $50 一客,以遊客地點來說也算是有良心。
