每逢這季節個心就囉囉攣,因為又係時候食大閘蟹喇!見到不少食家幫襯廣隆行,說是經營三十多年的老字號,又在太湖自設養殖埸,小妹當然信心倍增,一於捉幾隻大閘蟹回家慢慢嘆。舖頭門口設有兩個凍櫃,放滿深綠色的大閘蟹,價錢由$240-$480/斤,豐儉由人。今次挑選的每隻約4-5兩重($240/斤),屬於中小體型,店家並會附送蟹醋、紅糖、紫蘇葉和薑,相當貼心。為了方便客人煮食,卡片印有處理方法,小妹就依樣畫葫蘆,先幫大閘蟹洗白白,反轉蟹身放在碟上,再加入紫蘇葉辟腥,然後隔水蒸20分鐘。攪掂,食得!雄蟹肚尖長,雌蟹肚圓大,據說前者較味濃,故先由雌蟹開始。打開蟹蓋,雌蟹蟹膏不及預期澎湃,質感相對堅挺,入口甘香,餘韻凝聚嘴巴。雄蟹蟹膏則比較綿密濃郁,較合心意。蟹肉方面不失鮮美,蘸上酸中帶甜的蟹醋,又是另一滋味。餐後喝碗薑茶,有助驅寒。
