To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 今天是星期五，原本諗住一早去食牛柵喎。食咗呢間餐廳咁耐都唔知道原來佢喺旺角創意己知城有分店。唔係去睇下同其他餐廳分店有咩唔同。大約七點鐘，門外都有10幾人在外排隊了。因為本人只是會員，一早就已經攞了飛。等了大約10分鐘，我們就可以入座了。餐廳面積好大，位置都比較舒適。我們選擇了＄198嘅餐。呢個係一人一鍋自助型試的餐廳。呢間餐廳比我嘅感覺係工作人員當時比較親切，有禮。酱油跟饮料隨時可以加。但係飲筒就要問店員攞，笑了。一句到尾，服務食物都幾好！不防一試！
