To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 上次來這間太興,給我的印象是麻麻,不過今晚落街第一眼就看到太興,不作他想就取了籌,等了一會便可入店內。 雖然去太興不一定要點燒味飯,有其他小菜套飯選擇,不過他們的燒味一向出名,有一定水準,不想浪費時間,點菜時我就會要一客叉燒飯,心想不會失望。 這一客叉燒飯,沒有像上次般黏黏的,不過蜜味都豐富,肉質就有點腍口,但未至於鬆化。叉燒是全瘦的,沒有半點油膩,在這情況下的叉燒都算收貨。 油菜是菜心,今次用上了蠔油,不過蠔油偏少,沒把整碟菜都是蠔油。菜也是煮得腍腍,沒有爽脆的感覺。 柚子蜜都是甜甜的,喝一杯可滋潤一下,援和潮濕的天氣。杯底裡有柚子果肉,把水和果肉混和,就是甜甜的一杯柚子蜜了。 今次好像是好了一點,叉燒至少不會硬身的。由於時間不早,店舖要收工,因此還未吃完之下,已經收下飯錢,有點莫名其妙的感覺。
