To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 星期五晚,同朋友慶祝她辭職成功並年底last day,挑了一個方便大家的地方,沙田翠園。如不是她揀,我會避開這類店舖。餐牌選擇多,相片尤其吸引,既然為她慶祝,便由她決定。我們選了萄汁焗釀響螺(@$58-)丶順德沙鍋手打魚腐($128-)及金華玉樹麒麟鷄半隻($168-)。順德魚腐先上(其實應該上響螺先),外貎普通,有8粒魚腐頂住。先試魚腐,軟腍腍的,似腍魚蛋多過魚腐,兼且無魚味,完全不合格。👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 湯底亦很清,好處是健康,因無乜味精,味道欠奉。響螺味道唔錯,將響螺粒與雜菜用葡汁炒香,再放入響螺殻內焗,香口好味。👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 我只嫌響螺肉較少 。這個鷄件頭很多,鷄肉滑溜,不太肥,但無雞味。金華火腿亦無其獨特的咸香,整個餸食落似加了菜遠的𧐢油鷄,但十分淡。整體而言,翠園的優點是少味精,但味道就乏善足陳,不合格!
