To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 沙田有幾多選擇,都係嗰幾間。呢編食評主要是呢一次的體驗。幾個星期前去食晚飯,坐得舒舒服服,食物又唔錯。所以琴晚又約咗親戚去試佢個優惠。上到去原來有幾家人擺酒,要由橫門入去,今次座位空間細小咗。無法啦。點餐叫咗上次個套餐(六人餐)加個孖寶(龍蝦伊麵+雞一隻)。無耐樓面返轉頭話兩個優惠只可以二選一。最後改咗要另一個六人龍蝦套餐加兩個餸菜。(我地八個人)第一道菜上枱,我地就叫可唔可以上咗個荷葉飯先,唔想叫白飯食完又食個荷葉飯⋯⋯ 龍蝦伊麵上枱,咪食住先,個上湯好清,應該無加味精,無雞無火腿亦無鹽去煮出嚟的滾水燙伊麵,重點係碎上。個燕窩羮都唔失色,夠白,一樣都係無乜調味。好過個伊麵的。其他雞呀炸蟹鉗⋯⋯都算可以,不過不失。大大話話都食咗七道餸菜⋯⋯ 個荷葉飯呢? 追佢就攞出嚟,可惜係凍咗嘅。要番叮。好喇,終於有得食飯。點知就係你,推動我寫呢編食評。有人擺飲宴要坐板間房,訂枱你唔提,無所謂。兩個優惠,唔可以同時享用,亦明白。樓面去晒做飲宴,忙,叫咗汽水無咗回事,個飯無人手攞出嚟放到凍咗,我都明。但一間收$24罐汽水,兩碟前菜百幾蚊的酒樓,點解出品咁低裝?米好貴咩?碟荷葉飯要用d荷葉放係碟中間,頂
