早前到Popinjays吃了頓精緻有心思的菜,今次一班朋友,就選了樓下的 The Tai Pan,熱鬧一番。阿根廷以美酒和肉類聞名於飲食界,來自阿根廷的大廚對烤肉及扒類自然特別巧手,對一班「食肉獸」更是有不能抗拒的魅力。餐廳樓底特高,開揚闊落,吃得自然更舒適愜意。首先上場的是自家製麵包,外脆內軟,簡單配上牛油已很好吃。Michel Redde & Fils La Moynerie Blanc, Pouilly-Fume 2018~友人選的這支白酒,色澤淡黃,香氣優雅、口感清爽,帶青蘋果及檸檬香。法國生蠔~肉質爽脆柔滑,濃濃的海水及礦物味過後,釋放的是甜鮮味。SIGNATURE CRAB CAKES~金黃香脆的外層包裹著一絲絲的蟹肉,鮮香酥脆,啖啖滿足;先吃原味,再醮一旁的韃靼醬,雙重滋味!LOBSTER ESCARGOT~以龍蝦代替蝸牛,這個變奏版的法式焗田螺自有其獨特的美味,經檸檬香蒜牛油烘焗下;龍蝦肉增添一分燒烤的香氣, 層次也變得多樣化, 跟香脆的多士同吃,無得輸。CLAM CHOWDER~超級濃稠、口感細膩;滿滿的牛奶和忌廉香,每一口都吃到蜆肉、煙肉及芹菜,是我心目中的完美周打
