To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上星期, 一行6人去威記食海鮮, 食得好開心.  魚, 蝦, 蟹, 樣樣齊, 平均每人只是百多元, 真是平靚正之選.我們食了:1) 豉油王蝦~豉油不太甜, 又唔太鹹, 可以食到蝦的鮮味2) 苦瓜炆油追~這個超水準, 油追十分肥美, 不太多骨, 而且苦瓜索晒D油追的鮮味, 好味到不得了.3) 椒鹽鮮魷~個皮上得厚薄剛剛好, 炸得香日, 又唔會炸到鮮魷乾晒, 仲可以食到鮮魷本身的味道4) 蒸石蟹~老闆說是本地石蟹, 蟹細細隻, 但好好肉. 味道比出面食的蟹更濃味, 更甜, 令人回味無奈窮. 5) 炒菜~味道一般, 合格! (忙記影相)食完老闆娘還送上甜品, 很渦心! 謝謝! 小店的人情味, 是在市區的食肆找不到的.  南丫島空氣好好, 有機會一定會再去.

Other Info. : 順帶一提, 這間店還有自家製的涼茶 好似 $22枝, 個人覺得真材實料, 飲落有涼茶味, 味道比X福堂好得多.
