To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 南記由最初一間係香港仔,做到今時今日全港九都有分店,由最普通既魚蛋粉做到而家酸辣湯底蕃茄湯底什至火鍋配料都有,肯定有佢既魅力所在!我同幾個同事平均一個星期都會黎到公司附近呢間南記食lunch。環境:呢度多數都係2人同4人位,想自己一個人靜靜地食野又唔想同人搭枱既,呢度都有一排對住舖面既單人位,坐位安排照顧周到啦。服務:雖然係快餐店式自助取餐,但侍應呀姐好主動執枱收餐,係繁忙多人既lunch time絕對發揮到作用,同埋呢度既呀姐好有禮貌,次次黎到都小心前唔該後。衛生:正如上面講左,侍應呀姐收餐抹枱快手快腳,另外餐具跟餐一齊上,有別傳統粉麵店放係枱面任攞,感覺衛生d。味道:其實我每次黎都係點春卷魚蛋清湯米線。春卷係南記招牌,就算我平時少食煎炸熱氣野,但黎到每次都會點春卷,因為真係好好味好彈牙,魚蛋都係我另一至愛,好滑同好爽口,配清清地既米線同湯,清淡得黎好滿足。不過值得一提,呢間南記既清湯愈黎愈唔清,成碗都係油,有d嚇親!抵食:新一年南記又加左價喇,兩餸麵加左1蚊,但今時今日27蚊食到兩餸麵,價錢上其實都算抵,最緊要仲要係好味丫嘛。
