To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日下午放工後和同事一齊走去九龍灣逛德福廣場,無無聊聊之際看見牛角居然無人排隊,因為平時如果唔係預早訂枱要walk in的話,起碼要等1粒鐘或以上,可能當時已經係下午3點幾,所以咁少人,於是就立即入去醫吓個肚仔先。午餐時段有4個套餐可以選擇,因為我被和牛吸引了我的眼球,所以我揀了午餐C,都係$228。昆布湯湯裏有昆布、洋蔥和芝麻,熱辣辣的昆布湯帶有洋蔥的香甜味,感覺清甜可口。前菜我揀了沙律青瓜條,食落清甜爽脆,感覺十分舒服。一口燒墨魚感覺非常新鮮,有墨魚的鮮味。牛角極上四品燒肉盛盒(可揀不同醃醬,適合不同人士的味蕾,我揀了原味)有美國上級牛頸脊、熊本豚梅肉、日本雞腿肉和日本九州極上黑毛和牛牛肋肉,每種肉類都非常新鮮,一邊燒一邊香味四散,未食已經令我垂涎三尺,咬落還有少許肉汁滲進口腔裏,十分滋味,尤其是和牛,脂肪分佈均勻,不覺肥膩,入口即融,一試難忘。香蔥温泉玉子飯滿佈紫菜絲的牛角飯,再加上美味的日本雞蛋,食落有微微的紫菜鹹香味和雞蛋的香味,大胞口福。還有一杯苿莉花茶熱飲,可揀常温或熱,十分貼心。
