To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一家四口叫左隻片皮鴨餐,個餐包一隻鴨、一條蒸魚,一個鴨湯、兩個小菜,小菜我地揀左咕嚕肉同帶子蒸豆腐,另外加左個蟹子蟹肉伊麵。其實好多野都冇影相,亦冇諗過寫食評,但整體體驗真係太差,我唔希望再有人中伏。第一,book左枱埋去講book左枱,寫張紙寫枱號就要自己行入去搵,講左句限時90分鐘用餐時間,而且冇人帶枱,晚市都叫中菜酒樓1個半鐘要人走真係有啲過分第二,食物上菜次序及時間又耐又亂,正常膜皮同鴨應該第一樣上,鴨同膜皮一齊上,結果膜皮落完單冇耐就擺低,隻鴨最尾上,而講緊既最尾係已經食哂所有野,等佢黎埋隻鴨,結果膜皮擺咁耐就當然凍哂第三,食開片皮鴨既都知道會跟蔥同青瓜,我地叫左一隻鴨,佢俾一碟青瓜絲同蔥(如圖),一隻鴨呢個份量既青瓜同蔥真係唔夠,問佢拎多碟原來要俾錢,ok fine俾,叫多左碟,結果又等左十分鐘,啲膜皮同鴨已經凍到冇得再凍。講翻先,隻鴨黎到個刻我望錶已經係20:03,結果食埋隻鴨同啲膜,飲啖水就90分鐘夠鐘走人其他食物不過不失,都係個句本身冇諗住寫食評or打卡所以冇影相,但去到最尾隻鴨個part真係好嬲
