To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

最近去咗沙田沙角邨嘅熟食檔食晚餐，俾我搵到呢間金沙角冰室，幾抵食又好坐，推介比大家！我點了一份煙肉牛扒意粉，賣相相當誘人，色澤同埋香氣都100分！牛扒方面，煎得恰到好處，夠哂腍，絕對唔會嚡。表面帶微焦，相當香口，內裡依然嫩滑多汁，每一啖都能感受到牛肉嘅原汁原味，廚師果然對火候掌握得幾好。搭配嘅煙肉鹹香十足，油脂平均，油香滲滿意粉，味道超香！意粉嘅醬汁都好入味，每條意粉都掛上醬汁。意粉本身煮得彈性十足，相當唔錯！另外仲有塊蒜蓉牛油多士，個多士好香脆，鋪滿蒜蓉牛油，香噴噴，好好食！下次夜晚肚餓，都可以嚟呢間金沙角冰室食飯，唔錯，唔錯！
