To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 男朋友生日這個大喜日子,特意訂了間友人推薦的日式燒肉於是早在一星期前已經經電話訂好座其實我一直以為這間牛角是任食的原來只有旺角的 牛角buffet 才是任食畢業是男友生日,只好硬著頭皮進去一張長桌上用屏風間開不同的位置,不會過於擁擠,而且還有空位可以讓我放包包基於資金有限,男友也是看著我的銀包點菜我會點了一個牛肉拼盤,雞肉,牛舌及香菇就算了牛肉拼盤很特別,每個部分的牛肉都很好吃,而且口感不一 個人私心推薦牛舌不論厚切還是簿切都很好吃重覆叫了2次啊不過香菇就很一般,放在錫紙盤及牛油上燒烤,還沒燒完香菇就烤焦了小結。總捨而言味道很不錯,特別是牛肉但其他菜式姑香菇,雞肉等就比較遜色以每位$400而言,比較貴及會有更好的選擇大家可能食buffet會比較單點更好小補充。威士忌梳打超級難喝。別點
