To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 之前曾打算在復活節假到 LAMMA ISLAND 一遊,但因天氣不穩而最終取消今次假期鐵定要到 LAMMA ISLAND 走一趟,所以一早兩口子到達中環碼頭乘搭 11:50 船到索罟灣到達後先醫肚,選擇了威記 - 已經是第 4次幫襯他們本來較出名的應該是 RAINBOW,但有一次我們在RAINBOW 吃DINNER (貪有免費船返中環)覺得個價錢好貴但又唔係真係咁好食,仲要係碼頭吹左勁耐風先有船 (因為索罟灣晚上較大風)自始之後就選擇由索罟灣行去榕樹灣威記是有兩款二人餐提供 (有鮑魚 & 冇鮑魚),1月1日已經食過餐今次改為自己散叫,最後叫左三餸一炒飯先來個豉椒炒蜆,蜆洗得乾淨、炒得好、美味,好多肉 (唔係淨係個壳)自從一次試過呢個椒鹽鮮魷之後,每次都要叫,外面的漿薄薄的加上魷魚熱騰騰,好好味呀~~~!!!惟一一個是以 "市價" 的餸 - 豉油皇大蝦,$98 但係蝦好新鮮,做得好靚又好味~唔記得佢個名,總之係特色的炒飯,味道不錯~吃這些惹味的食物 + 天氣熱,特別需要啤酒,叫了一罐兩份飲其實唔明點解次次都係其他食肆坐滿了而威記只有 3、4 枱客(當然我除左 RAINBOW 之外其他我都
