To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 呢晚因為老闆娘到香港,所以有人提議話去呢間野食。見到裝修、各様,連個menu內容樣樣咁貴, 諗住有驚喜, 有好野食啦。點知......唉北京填鴨似焗鴨lor,仲要個皮肥淋淋, 條友仲要連皮連勁厚肉一齊片, 頂.....皮連肉都係"肥" 個皮冇味賽旁蟹呢個算成枱有少少味既菜, 但冇左隻旦...炒sen wu一般, 冇咩特別糖醋魚呢個勁唔掂, 魚冇味, 得個汁有味, 仲要勁甜, >.<醉雞呢個又係冇味, 連雞冇時間浸咁, 酒都係冇味白肉粉皮呢個全靠個豉油, 否則唔知點食....合桃蝦角呢個d蝦肉ok彈牙, 不過好油......其他唔想再講一共8個菜, 要成千三蚊找數........但味度完全唔值lor, 服務ok既只可以氹遊客就得....
