To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 晚了下班的日子,會在屯市吃過晚餐才回家。想念家常便飯的時候,便會從太興、韾居當中二選一。      為着一杯冰鎮奶茶,這天選了太興。選了兩個小菜,一個湯羹,感覺家常一點。    先上粟米魚肚羹($48),有兩碗的份量。粟米蓉份量不多,魚肚切得細碎,但份量不少。食味較為清淡,沒有放味精,有點家的感覺。  隨後上桌的是椰香咖哩牛筋腩煲($68)。上桌時熱得冒泡,牛腩份量也不少,既有牛香也有嚼勁。當中混雜了牛筋,軟嫩的牛筋正是我喜歡的口感。咖喱汁則微辣卻欠缺咖喱香氣,感覺只是一般。翠華的咖哩要比它好吃多了。  最後一道是金銀蛋墨魚浸芥菜($70)。上湯呈奶白,該是魚湯吧,加上金銀蛋,很夠味。墨魚丸小小的一顆,墨魚味甚為薄弱,口感一般。芥菜不是當做,口感一般,勝在吃下有一絲甘甜,很能降火,是健康之選。  加$22有飲品及白飯套餐,個人不好吃飯,就給老公吃好了。飲品跟冰鎮奶茶,這一向是我的心水呢。  這一頓家常便飯不算便宜,不過可吃到家常的味道,也可作開飯之選。
