To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最近去了一個悠長旅行,回來後有些個人問題很久沒有跟家人一同吃飯,難得是晚終於有空一同晚餐,滋味在心頭環境一派豪華且寬敞舒適先來滬江素鵝外炸得香脆可口,但不油膩,口感外脆內軟冰燒三層肉味道不鹹不油,皮脆,平常不愛吃肥肉的我也全部吃掉,口感脆滑,十分好吃而這個黑松露高湯三金勾翅更是超棒勾翅份量好足,口感滑滑,味道鮮甜,入口口感滿載古法扣三十一頭吉品鮑魚伴玉掌主角鮑魚入口有嚼勁,醬汁完全滲入,玉掌雖是配角,但同樣入味,而且不韌,好吃魚子醬蛋白蝦球魚子醬令蛋白更香,而蝦球肉質彈牙,加上露筍,味道適中恰到好處,入口既滑且香,美味秘制小欖乳鴿更係外皮脆,入口甘香,肉夠新鮮,沒有冰鮮雪味,單吃已味美滿載響螺盞泡田園蔬響螺口感煙韌鮮味,加上湯鮮甜,令蔬菜更鮮,口感好爽脆最後來個我至愛貢品葛仙米杏仁茶,賣相美美杏仁味香濃,口感香滑,而仙米及蛋白令杏仁茶口感更豐富更好吃食物精緻,份量適中,不會造成浪費,而且味道討好,令人回味!
