To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 當晚嘗試陶源酒家大閘蟹套餐放題$558另再加一服務費,大閘蟹大小目測大約二兩半至三兩,不能指定要蟹公或蟹乸是隨機上枱,當晚上枱的99%都是蟹公,蟹身比較污糟可能清洗未夠,最弊是全晚當中有10幾20蟹隻是臭的,那種臭味至今還記得即時非常影响胃口,跟現場男職員反影換來說(任食㗎嘛,臭咪再點過)感覺無奈,其它食物如蟹粉荳苗荳苗新鮮蟹粉沒有味道,鮑魚冬菇正常不過這些是一次性的不能再叫,可再叫的片皮鴨鴨肉較柴,椒鹽蝦正常,蟹粉鍋巴是淋不脆,糯米飯軟熟可以,甜品反而不錯楊枝甘露好味,薑茶夠薑味,大壽桃包正常,因當晚是朋友請吃飯所以不便太多意見及影相,只是自己覺得連加一服務費之後$6xx來食甜品就.....哈哈 continue reading
