So no objection with
My friend’s proposal of ordering this
It’s still a large bowl filled with beef and bones as before
The clear and tasty beef consommé was not oily at all
The beef and bones were well flavoured
Lots of chopped spring onion
And fried red onion with the tender beef
Didn’t need to have the beef with additional dipping sauce
My grandma was Indonesian Chinese
Fried red onion is one of my memories of her
Therefore this dish definitely made me feel warm
And of course we ate everything up approvingly

好香但唔油膩
仲有好多雞絲
先飲一啖湯試味
幾清香
撈匀所有材料
雞絲、芽菜、米粉夾埋一齊食
口感一流
不過呢個時候雞湯就顯得有啲清淡
加返少少本身配搭嘅辣椒油
一切嚟得啱啱好
Soto ayam, infused with tumeric and coconut milk
Delicious but not greasy
A lot of shredded chicken
Had a sip of soup without anything else
Fragrant
Then mixed everything
Chicken, sprouts, rice vermicelli all in one go
Layers of different texture in this bite
But the soup appeared too light at this moment
So added a little of the hot sauce served with it
Here you go, perfect
