To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

記憶來襲,倒帶回至那年window seat、微黃燈光中的晚餐,今日再訪皇家太平洋酒店Pierside,裝潢比昔日漂亮,食物亦然,而且很有驚喜! 今晚食的菜式可夠特別,日式有omakase, 而西餐同樣有廚師發辦,Mystery Box Menu只在星期五、六及日供應, 只要在訂座時說明一下有否對食物敏感或不吃甚麼就可以. 等待正餐期間,不自覺地吃了很多香脆麵包,配三款油(呍尼嗱、香橙及羅勒), 口味最佳的是羅勒. 不消一會,店員把木盒端來,是冷盤嗎?原來是簡潔的菜單,為保持神秘,只列出幾個項目,處處製造驚喜位. 先來captain drink, 這杯以香檳做base的名為黃金寶藏,兩粒黃糖在杯內,怎樣形容呢?該是花香之中帶少甜,首次這樣喝,很有趣! 以砂煲上的, 到底是甚麼呢? 心知不可能是中菜, 因為Pierside是主理澳洲菜的, 煲蓋一開, 是雞油菌龍蝦risotto!! 飯粒略軟, 是合乎港人口味, 醬汁偏多, 充滿龍蝦鮮味,夠香濃. 龍蝦是十分彈牙的, 材料豐富, 印象中可能是首次吃雞油菌, 原來是這般美味!

來到主菜, 亦是龍蝦! 但與以上兩道菜的龍蝦不同, 以海鮮汁伴石龍蝦, 是特別鮮汁, 龍蝦身十分彈牙, 而龍蝦鉗則軟滑, 完全沒有痴牙或難以咀嚼, 非常難忘!

今晚可謂龍蝦宴, 每道菜的用料也夠新鮮而且份量足, 就像頭盤, 通常吃到沙律中的龍蝦要不是切粒或一絲絲, 而Pierside的幾乎是用了半隻, 啖啖肉!

去到甜品這一環, 是按人數去準備, 店員把Spring Forest奉上, 我們無不尖叫, 實在是美得很! 很有童話般的境象, 那矚目的是棉花糖, 當然是甜甜的啦~

春天的森林, 不乏小甲虫、可愛的菇菇、翩翩起舞的蝴蝶及花朵, 教人怎不好好欣賞春天帶來的美好. 小甲虫是我愛的, 因為是甜甜酸酸的桑莓慕絲. '泥土'是薰衣草蛋糕碎, 菇菇是tiramisu. 看到甜品就停不了口, 最後...莓類的都給我吃光.

值得一提, Pierside的食材大部份由澳洲入口, 除了mystery box menu, 還有很多抵吃的menu, 就是可把Pierside放到適合慶祝特別日子的表單中. 發現店內很多魚兒擺設, 是切合Pierside的名字, 而看到魚兒, 讓我想到, 人如果偶爾擁有像魚一般記憶, 其實也很美好.
