To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 要係金鐘晚飯搵食,比想像中容易,可能係商業區又或者疫情關係,都唔駛等位直入。今次咁啱行過間小籠包店,諗起平時都少食,就試吓食餐。頭盤先食個雞絲粉皮,粉皮爽滑,啲醬又唔癡口,份量算正常,不過搵下搵下都唔多見啲雞絲。雖然無雞絲都食得好味,但係硬係爭緊啲嘢囉。跟住再嚟過雲吞,呢個做得唔錯值得推介,皮有啲厚但不至於硬,呢一樣嘢已經做得比其他好。𥚃面肉質新鮮,食起嚟都冇痴牙。呢個賽螃蟹就凍左少少唔夠熱,同埋味道差少少,因為蟹肉唔夠多,所以食起嚟冇蟹味又冇蛋味。唯有加少少陳醋,將味道提升番少少。呢個獅子頭就啱啱相反,好鹹~個獅子頭由裏面肉鹹到出外邊個汁。其實個肉質真係唔差,就係濃味咗啲。炒飯都係直得推介,平平無奇嘅炒飯,食落好有層次,一粒粒飯無癡埋又煙靱,呢個飯最緊要趁熱食,凍左味道就差啲。主角出場~小籠包,真正做到皮簿多汁,而且有肉香味,的確無丟佢嘅招牌㗎。至於呢個甜品桂花酒釀丸子,就唔多得,略帶古怪酸味,桂花又係唔多見。整體來講,食物質素唔差,不過味道偏濃,未必個個食得慣。而佢招牌嘅小籠包,真係唔失禮,其實佢仲有一個蟹粉小籠包,價錢又貴少少,不過都可以值得一試。
