To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 年多前, 在翡翠拉麵店吃過這裏的手抓餅, 這次便叫了脆皮手抓餅, 但食用時覺得真的非常油膩而且乾身, 完全沒有以往手抓餅所帶出的蔥香及鬆化有層次的味道及感覺. 這個脆皮手抓餅真的要取消售賣, 或者改變造法, 因為完全沒有使人覺得滋味的感覺. 請考慮恢復以往傳統手抓餅不要用油炸的造法, 而用煎香的方法去造, 這樣做會更好味.另外點了個椰香雞件, 食用時咬落有碎骨而且傷及牙齒.傳統小籠包味道保留傳統做法, 皮薄餡靚, 食用小籠包的專用的醋和薑絲配合得味道恰當.

今日去咗金鐘翡翠拉麵食午餐，金鐘翡翠拉麵出咗新菜式，所以叫咗2個菜，order薄荷葉炸子雞&佛跳牆。薄荷葉炸子雞味道都好清，但炸得好靚好，佛跳牆我平時好小食，今次覺得味道好。
