Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 作客。Jashan 的Lunch Buffet,一直以來最教我欣賞的,是它能用最少菜的數量,弄出最多最花巧的菜式:三小盤cold appetizers(都係近沙律類)外,有十款脆炸、熱葷、甜品恭恭敬敬的在五個熱籠中安置好,還有數款fresh fruit cut;雖然自助餐吧的配置,感覺不大骨子,但它「組件」的方法和心思,倒是教人稱賞的。每檯每人附送的papadam 和naan / garlic naan,果真「伴食」,不以為然。叫的Masala Tea 也是普通貨勁:味蕾差一點的,會以為是普通奶茶一杯。最愛的,仍是那震撼的原隻燒羊腿,同紅黃綠、雞牛羊俱備的咖喱吧。謝謝!
