To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 本人於18-2-2017,約5點多,於愛東百分百 下午茶叫了一個茄子焗肉醬意粉,當侍應送來時禮貌地說因沒有茄子所以轉了西蘭花,問我可以嗎!但因我不吃西蘭花所以我問不要西蘭花還可以轉什麼?侍應說轉煎蛋給我,我說OK。我見侍應拿到窗口,叫廚所換一隻煎蛋,但廚房的男仕好大聲罵,點解要轉蛋俾佢?佢唔食西蘭花係佢嘅事,你叫佢唔好食!眼見侍應好無奈,跟住,廚房男大聲話,我依加有茄子,即刻炸俾佢,無得轉!侍應無奈地將焗意粉再拿給我,跟我道歉並說廚房現在整茄子給我。問題1: 點解廚房有茄子而唔整俾客而要迫客轉第2樣食品??           2. 客人就坐喺廚房前,廚房的員工還這樣大聲說客人,不會覺得會令客人不滿??本人經常到此用餐,而經常聽到廚房的員工大聲說客人不是,希望 貴司能妥善處理!!
