To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

聽人講深水埗基隆街好多好嘢食，今日嚟呢度搵下食先， 搵到呢間食泰國嘢， 佢門口好隱蔽，即管一試。我叫咗個海南雞飯， 海南雞係無骨嘅，雞肉嫩滑，啖啖肉， 配上油飯，雖然唔係好健康，但係就好香雞油味。朋友叫咗個泰式炒金邊粉， 我食咗幾啖，入面有雞肉、芽菜，豆腐乾， 甜甜酸酸幾好味， 而且唔似一般炒粉咁油，唔錯!午餐送洛神花茶，聽聞話可以降血脂，酸酸地幾好味。呢度午餐價錢都係四十幾，茶餐廳價錢，下次再試下其他食品先!
