To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 某天很想吃上海菜,剛好經過旺角東,原來MOKO也開了翡翠拉麵小籠包,於是就去醫下肚餓。一去到門口已經有人排隊,還好等了5分鐘就可以進去。本來以為翡翠拉麵小籠包這個成熟的品牌已經被貪新忘舊的香港人遺忘,點知原來還有很多fans。MOKO店都算幾大,裡面的裝修不太“翡翠拉麵小籠包”style, 反而有d似muji café, 而且還有bar counter 食拉麵,如果一兩個人坐果到都幾過癮。 前菜點了雞絲粉皮、鎮江肴肉,主菜點了京蔥爆牛肉、四川擔擔拉麵、上海小籠包,最後甜品選了薑茶湯丸、酒釀丸子。上菜速度很快,食物的分量不過不失,不過食物的溫度好像不夠熱,有進步的空間。
