To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 年三十放假就同家人飲茶,知道沙田店比較多人所以早點到,11:30不用等位就可以入座,環境乾淨、裝修不錯、燈光很夠但枱與枱比較迫。美心皇宮難得仲有推車仔同懷舊點心,推車仔姐姐好好傾好好笑容。1) 干蒸牛肉賣:好少地方仲有這點心,難得見到有就叫了一籠,正常水準。2) 蝦餃:皮薄,出面食d酒樓d皮愈來愈厚,難得!蝦餃餡正常水準。3) 馬拉糕:推車仔姐姐比了邊給我們,這位置最好味,家父食了大半件!4) xo醬炒腸粉:幾野味,不過等了大半個鐘,要同經理吹先入廚房拎出來!5) 薑米叉燒蛋白炒飯:屋企人要叫但漏單,飯炒得乾身,就是叫了碟炒飯食唔到其他!整體服務、食物可以,叫廚部野好耐,價錢偏貴。仲有好多野想食但眼闊肚窄,食唔到最愛蓮蓉包,仲有桑寄生蓮子蛋茶想食!
