To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

曾幾何時,會展的自助餐,是城中追捧的目標,以優質食材,上佳的環境,令人去而復返,但時移世易,坊間不斷有對手出現,會展似乎已漸為人淡忘。近月會展有新攪作,銳意重新打造,的確有耳目一新的感覺。走過一小段長廊,牆上掛滿了由殘障人士所繪的油畫或工藝品,增添了文化氣息,與及令相關人士重拾自信。迎面而來,是獨立的Seafood Station,最吸「睛」的當然是凍食鮑魚,更是無限量供應;基本的阿拉斯加蟹腳、藍貝、海蝦、花蛤及翡翠螺,不單毫無討厭的雪味,refill的速度又夠快,所以一直都沒有人龍,亦是buffet的回本位。另一個吧檯是凍肉沙律位,煙火雞沙律、泰式燒牛肉沙律及海鮮沙律,都是即場製作,相當認真,海鮮沙律都忍不住吃了兩round。由於會展在天台自設種植區,餐廳內的香草,全都是自家出品,就連烤醃有機菜都以客人健康為主,很難得。就在大堂中央位置,以壽司刺身吧最吸引,肥大肉厚的日本帶子源源不絕;清脆爽口的象拔蚌,都是一般自助餐中罕有,結果令三文魚、甜蝦及吞拿魚等常客,通通都成了配角,更何況轉角處的壽司?簡直是給遺忘了的一群。熱葷類對於在下而言是可有可無,但面對冬菇花膠鴨掌煲又真的忍不住手,用料

熱葷類對於在下而言是可有可無,但面對冬菇花膠鴨掌煲又真的忍不住手,用料已經認真,炆得夠稔入味,的確少見。

清蒸石班又是另一選擇,不過今次略嫌過了火,肉質有點韌,還是可以有改進的空間。

日式鐡板燒是在下最愛流連的地下,原隻大蝦足六七吋長,肉質爽口彈牙,香味四溢,全晚供應,但竟然沒有人龍,因為實在有太多亮點,同一個區域,可以有A5飛驆牛壽喜鍋任食,夠誇張了吧?
至於天婦羅之類,又是成了陪襯品,不過總會有知音人。

以前對扒類是無肉不歡,但近年已選向精緻為主,就算是香草燒羊腿、牛肩肉及鴨肝,都只能跟朋友share,味道還是不錯,只是鴨肝煎得過火,少了一份豐腴甘香,入口即化的口感。

大家會看到兩部自助烤海鮮及蔬菜機,原來是科技大學研發的產物,可以測出食物的品質,從而自行調節溫度,吃了一串烤蝦,受熱很平均,不帶半點焦位,有水準之餘,又不用另花人手照顧,是一部win win的機器。湯先後發現了三種,不如一次過講。

押尾的甜品站,根本是女孩子的專櫃,整晚都給人包圍,其中最有看頭的,莫過於液態氮水果球,賣相已經爆燈,用超低溫液態氮倒落水果球,大量白絲絲氣體湧出,試了熱情果及Raspberry,酸甜夾雜,把味蕾都清洗了。

最後吃著店方送來的雙黃白蓮蓉月餅,賣相很環保,個人非常欣賞,而且味道跟傳統名店比不落下風,不錯。
